Violence Against Women: Violence and abuse affect women from all kinds of backgrounds every day. Sometimes, women are in and need crisis help. They also can connect you to shelters and services in your area. Call 800-799-00-787-3224. some are attacked by strangers, but most often they are hurt by people who are close to them. Violence and abuse can cause terrible physical and emotional pain. But you are not alone, and you can get help. Get help If you have been hurt by someone you know or love. Signs of an unhealthy relationship include: Focusing all your energy on your partner Dropping friends and family or activities you enjoy Feeling pressured or controlled a lot Having more bad times in the relationship than good Feeling sad or scared when with your partner. There are so many educational tools available, i am making a longstanding commitment to reducing violence against women specifically on teens and young women.

As I was reading on the TCFV webpage, I saw this I wanted to share with u.Honoring Texas Victims This is TCFV’s 33rd year presenting a fatality review of the women killed as a result of domestic violence in Texas. Honoring Texas Victims: Domestic Violence Fatalities in 2010. Texas Council on have researched, to the best of our ability, the stories of 142 Texas women who were killed by partner in 2010. This report pays tribute to the Texas women who lost their lives by memorializing their account of their death. It also helps us as advocates identify and analyze distinguishing of these cases.
