Miss West Texas International Leeza Marie Rubio was born in El Paso, Texas. She is 19 years old and is attending Park University with a double major in Criminal Justice and Pyschology. She has always been an over achiever. Once she sets a goal she achieves them with pride! She was homecoming queen 2010 for El Dorado High School, Miss Pepsi Cola USA 2008-2009, Miss El Dorado High School USA 2007-2008, second runner up and Miss Congeniality for Miss Boarder City Queen Pageant, but her most amazing achievment is graduating with honors and going to college to achieve her largest goals in life.

VIVA EL PASO is a huge part of her life. Beginning with being a folklorico, flamenco, and ballet dancer since the age of four.
Leeza is a big fan of Breast Cancer Awareness because her Mother, Aunts, and her high school principle all had breast cancer. Every year she does the Race for the cure and helps with her high school prepare for assemblies for Breast Cancer Awareness.
Leeza is very head strong with awareness to anything that has to do with women. Living in a boarder city right next to Cd. Juarez has made her more aware of the violence against women. Hundreds of women have died since 1993 because of violence emotionally, physically, and sexually. Over 5,000 victims have had no justice to rest there souls, and hundreds have been lost between the deserts of Cd. Juarez, Mexico.
